CONFIRE Votes Unanimously To Join Teamsters Local 1932
San Bernardino, CA — In a powerful show of solidarity, dispatchers at CONFIRE, a Joint Powers Authority that provides fire and emergency medical dispatch services for over 15 agencies across San Bernardino County, have voted overwhelmingly to join Teamsters Local 1932. This victory marks a significant step forward in securing strong representation, fair wages, and improved working conditions for the dedicated professionals who serve as the lifeline between first responders and the communities they protect.
CONFIRE dispatchers play a critical role in public safety, ensuring that firefighters, paramedics, and emergency personnel are dispatched swiftly and efficiently to life-threatening situations across the region. By joining Teamsters Local 1932, these essential workers are taking a stand for fair treatment, better job protections, and a stronger voice in their workplace.
