Shane Stogorman, County Public Works Steward, Honored with Member Power Award
On Friday morning, August 12th, Teamsters Local 1932 honored Shane Stogorman, a San Bernardino County Public Works employee in Apple Valley, as our Union’s Member Power Award winner for July 2017 in appreciation of his regular commitment to helping his fellow Union sisters and brothers.
Like past Member Power Award winners, Shane, also a Steward, was nominated by multiple of his fellow Teamsters, both within his Department and beyond. Shane is always a presence at our regular events, training, and meetings, and back in May, he was also instrumental in making our first General Membership Meeting remote viewing event in the High Desert a productive experience. Moreover, Shane is a Teamster active in the community, with several years experience as a volunteer at his local Fire Dept Emergency Communications Service (ECS).
