Teamsters Local 1932: Bringing Worker Power to the Coachella Valley
San Bernardino, CA- Teamsters Local 1932 is proud to announce significant organizing victories in the Coachella Valley region, with workers at Desert Water Agency becoming certified by the Public Employees Relations Board (PERB) and Coachella Valley Water District successfully joining our union as well. Coachella Valley Water District only awaits the same certification from PERB. These wins mark a new era of solidarity and strength for public service workers in the region, as they unite to secure fair wages, strong benefits, and improved workplace protections.
“These victories are a testament to the growing demand for union representation across the Coachella Valley,” said Randy Korgan, Secretary-Treasurer of Teamsters Local 1932. “We are proud to stand with the hardworking employees of Desert Water Agency and Coachella Valley Water District as they fight for the respect and support, they deserve. Pretty soon, the region will be producing quality Teamster Water.”
Teamsters Local 1932 continues its mission to empower workers and strengthen communities throughout Southern California. These latest organizing efforts demonstrate our union’s commitment to expanding opportunities for workers to achieve economic justice and workplace dignity.
