Teamsters Local 1932 Executive Board is proud to support the decision of Joint Council 42 to officially endorse Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz to be our next President and Vice President.

This endorsement is based on the impactful and transformative work that began within the Biden-Harris administration, which has delivered concrete benefits for the Teamsters and the labor movement.

Within the first 60 days of the Biden-Harris administration, they took decisive action to save Teamster pension plans, ensuring that our retirees receive the benefits they have worked for and deserve. Their administration also passed a comprehensive, bipartisan infrastructure plan that created over 2 million good-paying union jobs, providing crucial employment opportunities for working families across the country.

Moreover, the protection of the Right to Organize Act stands as a testament to their commitment to workers’ rights. This act ensures that if a worker wants to join a union, they have the ability and legal support to do so without facing intimidation, retaliation, or barriers from employers.

For these reasons, and their proven record of standing with workers, Teamsters Local 1932 is proud to stand with Harris-Walz. Their leadership will continue to protect the rights of working people and strengthen unions for generations to come.
